I have to tell Leo's story, even if it's a little long. But Leo earn it. Leo came us to be a show dog, but there was one thing why he never got to be great whit shows - He hated those. Even if he took part only three official shows in junior class in Sweden and got three CAC of those, once he was even Best of Breed. He never liked to be in a leash. He even won Nordic Junior Winner -title. Only if he could walk nice, he would have so great future in shows. But he never learned to walk nice, cant blame that we didn't try, I tried over a year. Final point when I give up with Leo and shows was when he decided to destroy his coat.
So Leo stayed only a pet in our house, our little fool furry ball. Leo got a very short coat and he love it! He was so happy with short coat. That was point when I understand that Leo is not any kind of show dog, even if he has gorgeous body and pigment to die for. So I kept him anyway, I don't have style to give dog's away if they are not good show dogs etc.
In autumn 2007 my father visited us and he fell love in Leo and Leo loved him. My father started to talk if he and my brothers can take Leo a while. Ok, I didn't have anything against it, because there Leo would get all attention to himself. I took Leo with me in my fathers place in December 2007 and there Leo is still, I haven't get him back, but I know he love to be in there. Leo visited us in summer 2008 and really wanted to go with my brothers when they leaved from us.
Leo found his place from there. So Leo live now in Finland, Helsinki.
And He is available for breeding also. |
